You know why people like to read weblogs? Because it’s sort of like text-based voyeurism. I want to know what’s going on in his or her head, and so I read this person’s blog, or that one…I want to hear about how Janie lost her virginity last night or Bobby cried after he broke up or that Sally kissed a girl.

I want to know. I want this information, even though it’s totally useless and serves no real purpose. I love that people give us that. I love that I do it. I love that others do it.

Weblogging is reading the diaries of 50 million people and then seeing them the next day. It’s like a soap opera on the net.

Interesting, ne? I’ve been reading a lot of different ones lately. It’s quite strange. I probably should have studied psychology as a double major with marketing, but I didn’t. Doesn’t really matter. Here are some links to various blogs I’m currently reading.

pixie’s uJournal
Little piggies playing in the mud
True Porn Clerk Stories

I randomly click on blogs when I see them these days.
