Oh, so here’s the story of why girls are evil, vicious creatures.
MaddxHattr: I finally set up a time/date with this girl.
MaddxHattr: so we had said “cool, saturday the 13th is all good!”
MaddxHattr: and she tells me to call her on thursday night.
MaddxHattr: So I call on Thursday, and her sister asks for my name, says “she’s watching the game, can she call you back?”
MaddxHattr: I’m like “sure, okay.”
MaddxHattr: She doesn’t call back, but I figure it’s just her normal mode of operation.
MaddxHattr: she usually doesn’t call back, and she’s hard to reach, because she doesn’t live on campus and works.
MaddxHattr: So, last night, I call, and the sister gets the phone again, asks who it is, and then the line goes dead.
MaddxHattr: So I call back, and a boy picks up.
MaddxHattr: I know she only has sisters, so I go “Oh, good evening. Is Ally available?”
MaddxHattr: And the voice responds, “She’s busy right now. This is her boyfriend, John (or something like that).”
MaddxHattr: so I says {quickly working a plausible lie} “Oh, well, can you just tell her that I can’t do anything tomorrow because I have a leadership conference all day?”
MaddxHattr: So he says “Sure, it’s cool, because we’re going out to dinner.”
MaddxHattr: Then I hang up.
MaddxHattr: Then I said fuck it, and drank a bottle of aftershock. {not really}
