Today, as usual, is my birthday, and once again, it seems like it’s about to snow – which is extremely gratifying. I very much enjoy snow, so it’s all good!
However, it’s not going to be a very exciting time today – I’ve begun studying for finals, and that means I’m pretty much in lockdown. Oh well, I had a good weekend leading up, anyway.
I’ve been doing more preparation for Japan. I’ve finished my visa application and mailed it. I have housing for the first few days. I’m going to order my books soon, and then in a little more than a month, I hit the air and fly to Tokyo (by way of Toronto).
I’m pretty much ready to go – I think that this time abroad will really help recenter and reset me, I need a balancing experience. Law school is killer, and I will be studying out there, but the difference I believe will be outstanding. Last time, in 2002, I was reinvented…I’m hoping to reinvent again and refresh my creative juices.
